Rebecca Pike is Finder’s senior money writer, specialising in mortgages and personal finance. With over 10 years of journalism experience, Rebecca has been a regular presence on TV and radio, including appearances on Sunrise, A Current Affair, Today, 9News, 7News and Sky News. She is also a sought-after commentator for print and online publications, including Yahoo Finance, Really Simple Money, The Latch and The Insiders, offering expert advice on home loans and personal finance.
Before joining Finder, she spent three years as the Editor of Mortgage Professional Australia (MPA), where she led insightful roundtable discussions with industry leaders, moderated webinars and provided in-depth analysis on key financial trends. She has also been involved in key industry events, including her role as a judge at the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia Excellence Awards and her work presenting at the Australian Mortgage Awards. Rebecca has a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kent, a Bachelor’s degree in English, as well as ASIC-recognised certifications in Tier 1 Generic Knowledge and Tier 2 General Advice Deposit Products, ensuring that her advice is always based on up-to-date and trusted industry standards.
