Hi Steven,
When you make transfers to Wise using a credit card, it’s often treated as a cash advances by the bank, meaning they will charge you a cash advance fee and interest on the entire balance from the moment of the transfer. Cash advances are also not eligible to earn points. So, it’s unlikely you would earn points for any of these transactions, and it would cost you a lot in interest. You can learn more about these fees here.

Can you confirm if this card awards points for payments to the ATO for BAS and tax payments and if so at what rate per $ spent.

Hi Ian, You can earn points by paying your BAS or other tax bills with this card and the earn rate is 0.5 points per $1 spent. Note that the ATO also charges a 1.45% fee for payments by credit card. Check out our full guide to earning points when paying your taxes to learn more about how it all works. Hope this helps!

My company has 2 directors. Can both directors apply and receive the 170k points each?

Hi David, This seems unlikely – since you’re applying for the card for your business and using its ABN, you likely can’t score the points more than once.

Yes groceries are an eligible everyday purchase. Ineligible purchases include things like cash advances, online gambling, interest and fees.

Hi
What happens after I spent the $3000 and receive the 130000 points. What’s happen when I pay the credit card bill and then spend another $3000 each month due to business purchasing expenses.
Cheers Aussie.

Hi Aussie,
Seperate to the bonus points offer, you’ll receive points for every dollar you spend on eligible purchases on your card. On this card, you’ll earn 1.25 Qantas Points per $1 spent on everyday purchases; 0.5 points/$1 spent on utilities, insurance and government bodies; and 2 points/$1 spent on Qantas products. After the first 500,000 points earned on this card in a calendar year, the everyday earn rate changes to 0.75 points per $1. So, if you spend another $3,000 per month on a range of different things, you could earn between 0.5 and 2 points per dollar spent.
Hope this helps!

Hi, im looking to get this card for my business.
I make most business payments through the WISE Payment app for international purchases. Would the money I’m depositing into WISE to make purchases be eligible to earn the bonus points?
