Peoplecare doesn’t offer Gold hospital cover, but benefits for pregnancy and birth are available under their Silver Plus Grow product. Note that this product is only sold as part of a combined policy, it can't be purchased as a standalone Hospital policy.
What types of health insurance does Peoplecare offer?
For extras, you can claim in person by swiping your member card - as long as the provider has a HICAPS machine. Otherwise, you can claim via the Peoplecare app or online through the Member Services portal. You can also email a completed claim form along with any receipts to info@peoplecare.com.au or you can post it to Peoplecare, Locked Bag 33, Wollongong NSW 2500.

Peoplecare's complaints record is pretty good! According to the most recent State of the Health Funds Report, Peoplecare has a 0.4% market share and accounts for 0.2% of all health insurance complaints made to the Commonwealth Ombudsman. That puts them at 8th best from 29 funds. Not the best, but a long way from the worst.
